KL Rahul set to miss India's tour of England: Reports
Rahul is likely to fly out to Germany by the end of this
month or early July.
Indian star batter KL Rahul, who is battling a groin injury, is set to miss the England tour, starting from July 1. According to a report by
Cricbuzz, the BCCI has decided to send Rahul abroad for treatment, and the
country is likely to be Germany.
"That is correct, the board is working on his fitness
and he will be going to Germany soon," BCCI secretary Jay Shah told
Cricbuzz.
Rahul is likely to fly out to Germany by the end of this
month or early July.
Notably, India are to play one Test and six white-ball games
(3 T20Is & 3 ODIs) in England. KL Rahul was named vice-captain for the tour
but the India selectors will have to name another deputy.
