Ole Gunnar Solskjær 🇳🇴 on THIN ICE :
Ole Gunnar Solskjær has the backing of some members of the Manchester United board. However, others believe that it is time to change. But the board can all agree that the manner of performances and the results picked up by the team, has not been up to Manchester United standards.
During this international break, the club have been shortlisting a few candidates for the job for if Ole Gunnar Solskjær still cannot pick up the results and improve the performances of the team. In that list, the names are;
1) Brendan Rodgers
2) Zinedine Zidane
3) Mauricio Pochettino
Firstly, Brendan Rodgers would not like to leave Leicester as of now. If he was to leave Leicester City, it would have to be in the summer, rather than midway through the season.
Secondly, the situation with Zidane is difficult. The former Real Madrid manager is so relaxed and calm about his situation. He isn’t rushing to get back into club management any time soon. He is interested however in the French International job, when Didier Deschamps steps down, he hopes to take that position. Manchester United hope to persuade him to join with his former players Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo. It has been said that even Cristiano Ronaldo has approved of Zidane joining Manchester United. However, Zidane has some concerns about managing in the Premier League as he has never played in the Premier League, therefore he has no previous experience of the league.
Thirdly, Mauricio Pochettino is still the Paris-Saint-Germain manager. The Paris-Saint-Germain board are still behind him and they still want to wait and see what happens. But it is no secret that Mauricio Pochettino would love to manage Manchester United, but as it stands, he is still the Paris-Saint-Germain manager, so the club would have to wait until something happens.
